Employee University offers free DVD previews of almost all corporate training videos.

You'll be able to tell if a preview is available from the details page of the respective video.

Basically, the way it works is... we send you the previews of your choice.  The preview is FREE - you only pay $6.25 for ground shipping (rush shipping is available during checkout); you have 30 days to evaluate the program to decide whether you want to make a purchase.

You'll ship the videos back at your expense; if you want to purchase one of the programs you have evaluated, call us and we'll send you your own legal version of the DVD (one that does not have the "Evaluation Copy Only" message scrolling across the screen during payback.)

Do you qualify for Free Preview?
 

We are trusted to protect the intellectual property of the products; to ensure that the previews are not used for research or training; that they are being sent to organizations for the strict purpose of evaluation for purchase.  Therefore, we have the following criteria for fulfilling a preview request:

1. The order is placed by a legitimate organization that can found with an internet search or Google Earth / Maps.

2. The shipping information on the preview request is congruent with information found on the web site of the organization for which it has been ordered.

3. The email provided with the order is a business email (such as .com, or .org, or .gov); not a public email such as gmail or hotmail.

Orders that come in that do not meet these criteria are assumed as SPAM and are disregarded / cancelled.

If you are working remotely, or a home-based consultant, you'll need to call 888-215-8532 after you have placed the preview order and ask that the preview NOT be cancelled.

Training with a Preview Version is Stealing.
 

We ask that you respect our copyrights and limit your "reviewing panel" to 1-3 people; here is a real-life example of a preview that crossed that line...

A customer requested a leadership DVD for preview; we received the  preview back with a note in it saying that they showed the preview at one of their directors meetings where 30 of their directors "evaluated" it.  All of them loved it and approved of the material, but they did not place an order.  So, essentially, this organization provided training to 30 of their key leaders illegally using a preview copy.  

We hope the above example sheds light on the ethics related to using preview material, rather than give you ideas :)

Please Respect the Investors

Many of the videos on our web site were produced by very small production companies, and in some cases individuals.  Even though the price of the videos are relatively high compared to entertainment DVDs, many of the productions are still waiting to break even and provide a return to the families of those that have invested in the production.  So on behalf of those families and small businesses, we beg you to be cautious with our previews by:

• Limiting your purchase evaluation panel to only 1-3 people.

• Do not permit someone in your organization to use the preview version in a training class or for presentations; this would not only be unethical, but it is also illegal.

Common Questions/

What is the difference between a preview/evaluation video and a purchased video?
A preview has subtitled banners that scroll and pop up while the video is playing; the messages vary, but all basically say the same thing:

"FOR PURCHASE EVALUATION ONLY - NOT TO BE USED FOR TRAINING."

What if I need the video shipped quicker than ground-ship?

If there is any urgency in seeing the videos, we suggest paying a little extra for priority ship.  We give you the option of rush shipping after you submit a preview request

• You can also use your own FedEx account number; just call it in or email it to your account manager after you submit a preview request.

If you ship me a free preview copy for evaluation, is it REALLY Free?
There is no cost for the preview. We ground-ship them to you using our shipper account, and there is no charge for using the preview media itself.

All previews must be returned to us; if you decide to purchase any of the programs, we will send you a new / usable copy (remember, you cannot use the preview copies for training).

When you send the previews back to us, you do have to ship them back to us at your expense.
