Video Synopsis

Alex Rogo manages a failing manufacturing plant; with 90 days in which to save his plant. He gets help from a Jonah, a former professor. Jonah, introduces him to the Theory of Constrains (TOC); who reminds Alex that the goal of a business is to make money; increase throughput, reduce inventory, and reduce operating expense.

The author, Eli Goldratt defines throughput (T) as the rate at which the system generates money through sales.
